Hiya, Ashley! It sounds like you have plans for a magical vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort. A split stay is an incredible way to experience the unique theming and style of several resorts on one trip. And Extended Evening Hours add a little extra sparkle to the Pixie Dust.
This past fall, I managed to close down three theme parks in one day. It wasn't my plan, but it was amazing! I was at
Magic Kingdom Park at 6 p.m. when it closed for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I hopped over for
Fantasmic! and
Slinky Dog Dash as
Disney's Hollywood Studios closed. Then I was on to
EPCOT for
Extended Evening Hours and a jump through time and space on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. My friend
Candace shared a tip that helped make the most of the evening hours: You cannot run at a theme park, but you can skip! It was truly an enchanted evening at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Extended Evening Hours are an amazing benefit of staying at a deluxe Disney resort. You can enjoy this on your check-out day as long as you meet all the other criteria. For extended theme park hours, a valid theme park admission is required. If you have a date-based ticket with
Park Hopper, you should be all set. If you have a one-park-per-day ticket, you must use it in the park with extended hours. And if you have an Annual Pass or another admission type that requires a theme park reservation, you must visit the theme park with the reservation before entering the park with extended hours.
When I arrived at EPCOT, there were two steps for entry. First, a Cast Member scanned my
MagicBand+ to verify I had a reservation at a deluxe resort. Then, I scanned my MagicBand+ again at the ticket gate, excited to see the Mickey Mouse icon change colors and welcome me to EPCOT.
Ashley, I hope this information puts your mind at ease and sets you on course for adventure. Your trip is almost here! If you have any other questions, please stop back by

Magic Awaits!
