Hiya, Brandon, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you're here today with this great question! It sounds like you're gearing up for a fun visit to Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow! As a mom of littles, I know how important it is to plan ahead for everything from playtime to meals to downtime.
Brandon, when my family arrives at our Disney Resorts Collection hotel, the first thing my kiddos ask to do is head to the pool. Your kids will love Stormalong Bay at
Disney's Beach Club Resort! The sand-bottom pool and epic waterslide will provide hours of fun! I would get checked in, head to the pool to get the travel-day wiggles out, then walk over to
EPCOT for an evening of exploring the World Showcase and eating some delicious food.
On Saturday, take the Disney Skyliner or enjoy a morning stroll over to
Disney's Hollywood Studios for a fun-filled day of exciting attractions and shows. If you find that your kiddos need a break, you can always head back to your Resort hotel for some more pool time, or time in the Community Hall, where they can color, play, paint, and more! Dinner at Beaches and Cream would be a perfect way to end the day.
On Sunday, take the bus over to
Magic Kingdom Park first thing in the morning. Since Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guests can enter the parks 30 minutes early for
Early Theme Park Entry, you'll get a head start on attractions. Grab a good lunch there at a table service restaurant like Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen for a break from the heat, and to recharge for the rest of the day. The Happily Ever After fireworks show has always been a hit with my little ones, so if yours can stay up a little later, be sure to find a spot on Main Street, U.S.A. to watch the show.
If you're up for it on Monday morning, head back into EPCOT for a bit, or take a bus to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. My little ones have the best time checking out all of the exotic animals and earning Adventure Badges as part of the
Wilderness Explorers program.
Brandon, the sky is really the limit in terms of what you can see and do in a long weekend at Walt Disney World Resort. Try to take it slow, and enjoy everything as you experience it through the eyes of your little ones. Each park offers a
Baby Care Center that you're welcome to stop into for essentials like children's pain reliever and air-conditioned space to take a little sensory break. I also recommend bringing or renting a double stroller!
Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue to plan your getaway! I'm here and happy to help!
See you real soon!
