    Staying 9/27-10/4. DD(3) loves horses. How do we get from ASMovies to Tri-Circle-D for the pony rides, and how much time should we allow?

    There are trail rides for children ages 9 and up that leave from the Tri-Circle-D ranch near the parking lot side of Fort Wilderness. This is NOT the same place that has pony rides for smaller children. The pony rides are located at the petting zoo near Pioneer Hall which is at the far opposite end of Fort Wilderness. To get to Pioneer Hall from the All Star resorts, you should take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there take the boat to Fort Wilderness. (The boat launch area is between the bus depot and the monorail station.) The pony rides do have certain hours and may be canceled for adverse weather. I would ask the guest services desk at All Star Music to call Fort Wilderness for you to confirm the hours that will be in effect during your trip.
