Staying at CSR in july.I know that fridge is in room (need this as DH uses insulin),however can hotel provide sharps box as we are travelling from uk?

Hi, Yvonne!  You won't have any trouble at all getting a sharps container in your room for the insulin syringes and the lancets for finger sticks.  I've stayed in several different Walt Disney World resorts as an insulin dependent diabetic, and you just have to call housekeeping for a container.

In the theme parks, I have used a soda or water bottle to keep the lancets and syringes in, and then dumped them into the sharps container when I got back to the room.  Alternatively, you can go to the First Aid stations in the parks and they will dispose of them for you.

Have a great trip, and keep an eye on those sugars!  The change in diet and the extra exercise always changed my insulin needs.
