    We will be staying at Coronado Tower in May. We have several early morning dining reservations at the parks. What is the typical travel time from the resort to the parks, or how early should we plan to leave the resort to make our reservations in time?

    Felecia,

    I love early morning dining reservation in the parks! It is such a festive (and filling) way to kick off any day at Walt Disney World!

    So once you catch a bus from your resort, the approximate travel times to the respective parks are as follows;
    As a rough rule, I would plan to leave for the Magic Kingdom and Epcot at least 50 to 55 minutes prior to reservation time, and 35 to 40 minutes ahead of time for the Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. It will seem like a lot of time, but you just don't want to arrive late and have everything in your day seem to be off schedule.

    Confirm your reservation time as it relates to the opening hour of the park. Typically the buses to the park will start running 1 hour prior to park opening, so you will want to ensure that you catch one early enough to get to the restaurant in time.

    Second, make sure you use the My Disney Experience App on your smartphone, or check the menu on your resort room TV to track when the next bus to your destination is due to arrive at your resort. This helps you reduce the time you sit at the bus station waiting for bus to arrive.

    I hope that this helps!

    Have a Magical (and delicious) Vacation!
