You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney, Mike!
Thanks for bringing your question our way.
I just returned from my stay at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort & Gran Destino Tower, and I cannot stop gushing about this stunning property! We loved strolling along the beautiful and lush grounds of the Resort hotel. I learned very quickly that my late-night hunger cravings could be fulfilled by visiting
El Mercado de Coronado for their delicious nachos! The eatery was open until 11 PM EST during my stay (hours are subject to change, so I recommend checking them for the dates of your visit), and as a Texan, I loved trying their
Tex-Mex Entrées! The nachos are number 1 on my approval list.
Mike, my family also prefers to drive around Walt Disney World Resort! I’m thrilled to tell you that Guests of Disney Resort hotels can enjoy complimentary overnight self-parking! You’ll also be happy to know that
standard theme park parking is included for registered Guests of Disney Resort hotels. Once you head to the theme parks and stop at the parking booth, a Cast Member will verify your reservation and allow you to enter to head to the self-parking area.
If you prefer to park at the preferred parking lots closer to the entrance of the parks, you’ll only pay the difference in cost between your included parking and preferred parking. Yay!
If you’d rather take advantage of the complimentary standard parking as we do, Hakuna Matata, Mike! It means no worries, as courtesy trams have returned to all four theme parks! They conveniently take you from the parking lots to the Main Entrance of the parks or to the Ticket and Transportation Center when visiting
Magic Kingdom Park.
Since you plan on parking a vehicle at the theme parks, I would love to tell you about a complimentary feature in your My Disney Experience Mobile App called the
Car Locator. It saves your parking location on your phone in the app, so you’re not worried about trying to remember where your car was parked after spending the day at the park!
To use this feature, simply open up the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Next, select the three horizontal lines (☰) on the bottom right. Then, scroll down and choose
Car Locator. Finally, save the parking location (usually, it pulls up the information automatically), and that’s it! At the end of your visit, simply open up the app and head back to the
Car Locator option, and it will tell you which parking area you can find your car in.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Mike!
Aena
