I am staying at the Coronado Springs resort and plan on a reservation for breakfast at the Kona Cafe? What would be the best way to get there? Should I take a bus to Epcot or Magic Kingdom and then transfer to the monorail? How much time should I allow?

    Hi there, Amy!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you stopped by with your question.

You're going to love all of the recent enhancements and Spanish theming at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I've previously stayed at this beautiful Disney Resort hotel many times in the past and am looking forward to staying there again this fall.

Kona Cafe at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my family's favorite breakfast spot when visiting Walt Disney World Resort. This popular dining location serves Kona Press Pot coffee, an amazing banana-stuffed french toast covered in cinnamon sugar called Tonga Toast, Macadamia Nut Pancakes and other delicious breakfast offerings. If you are hoping to utilize Disney's complimentary transportation, your best option is to take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to the water launch (water taxi) or Resort monorail bound for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I would allow at least 60 minutes for your travel time if utilizing Disney's complimentary transportation. Minnie Van Service, taxis and ride-sharing services are also available for Guests traveling between resorts at an added cost. Based on my own personal experience, traveling by car would be your quickest and most efficient method of transportation.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Amy! Let us know if you have any additional questions in the days leading up to your vacation. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
