Hi Alex! Welcome to planDisney!
EPCOT is my very favorite
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park so I don't blame you for wanting to spend some extra time there. Even after years of return visits I still find new and exciting details sprinkled throughout the countries in World Showcase and the attractions throughout the rest of the Park. I especially love how EPCOT is forever changing, as we can clearly see as it moves through its latest transformation. Disney Imagineers are working hard to create an even better EPCOT by adding new, unforgettable attractions like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, dining locations like Space 220 Restaurant and
plaza and event spaces that bring people together during EPCOT's festivals.Since
EPCOT technically has two entrances I know sometimes it feels like it would be easiest to head to the one closest to your first destination. If you're planning on heading straight for
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure or even Frozen Ever After I can see why you and your party would be interested in arriving through the International Gateway. The International Gateway entrance sits between the pavilions for France and the United Kingdom, allowing you quick access to other areas in World Showcase. However, Disney Transportation from
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort will drop Guests off at the main entrance of EPCOT where there is bus access, instead of the International Gateway where Guests arrive by foot, Water Taxi or the Disney Skyliner.
Of course, if you're willing to put in a few more miles we can get you from Coronado Springs to the International Gateway, it just might take a more exciting route! For a high-flying adventure, I would suggest hopping on a Disney Bus to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once you've arrived, instead of heading toward the Park, jump on the
Disney Skyliner for a breezy bird's eye view of the Resort as you head to EPCOT. Not only will you arrive at the International Gateway like you wanted, but you'll have ridden the most exciting attraction that can be found outside of the Parks. Sounds like a win-win to me!
Enjoy your time strolling through EPCOT and make sure to check out all of the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival booths and entertainment before the festival ends on November 19th!
