    Will be staying at Coronado Springs. Linked debit card to KTTW card for purchases, but will it charge purchases + daily holds? How much are daily holds? Makes me wonder how much $$ we'll have to have on account to cover everything. Is this a wise choice?

    Congratulations on planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  You will be staying at my favorite resort, Coronado Springs!  You and your family will enjoy the wonderful themeing, the beautiful scenery and the Lost City of Cibola pool!  (Don't forget to spend some time on the hammocks around Lake Dorado...so relaxing!

    I am a huge fan of the Key To The World card option for guests at WDW.  Primarily, I enjoy the fact that we only need to carry one card, and it minimizes the "bag lady" look when at the parks!  You are not charged a daily hold on your credit card for your purchases.  Disney keeps a "tally" of your purchases and you are charged the full amount upon check out.  You will also receive a print out of where you've used your KTTW that final day, so you know where monies were spent.  The credit card limit at your resort is $1,000, but you can speak to Guest Services should you need to adjust that to your spending needs.  

    The amount of money that you spend is, as is everything on a Disney vacation, subjective.  We have found that budgeting $100 per person per day works best for us to cover meals, souvenirs and miscellaneous.  If you are worried about meeting the limit, you can opt to pay for items of higher cost with a separate credit card so that it does not affect your KTTW limit.  Or you can purchase Disney gift cards and use those in lieu of the KTTW.  The options are endless and entirely up to you.
