Hi Sarah, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks so much for sending in your question. I’m so happy to help. You’re going to love your stay at
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this July! It’s one of my favorite places to stay, thanks to its unique blend of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwestern design. Even though it’s considered a Moderate resort, it feels incredibly deluxe with beautiful touches throughout.
You’re smart to plan a pool day on checkout. It’s the perfect way to soak up every last bit of vacation fun!
The Dig Site, which is the main pool area, is such a gem. Between the towering Mayan pyramid, 123-foot water slide, and the largest hot tub on Walt Disney World property (it fits 22 people!), you’re definitely in for a relaxing time.
As a matter of fact, I’m staying at Coronado Springs right now, so I popped over to the pool to check out the facilities for you. The ladies’ restroom near the pool area does have two showers stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. While I didn’t spot any hair dryers, there is an outlet located right by the sink and mirror, so if you have one packed in your luggage, you’ll be able to use it there. There are also lockers available if you want to stash your personal items while you enjoy the pool.
And if you get a little hungry after your swim, I highly recommend heading over to Three Bridges Bar & Grill. It’s a beautiful open-air restaurant located on the lake, and the
Roasted Corn Dip is one of my absolute favorites!
I hope you have a magical and relaxing vacation, Sarah, and if any other questions come up as you get ready for your trip, I’m always here to help!
See ya real soon,
Eean
