we're staying at coronado springs either side of a 3night on the Wish. what's the best option to get to/from port - hire car or disney bus? wondering what is the cost/ how we choose times to arrive and depart or are they allocated?

    Ahoy, Deborah!

How wonderful that you're getting to combine a little holiday at Walt Disney World with an adventure at sea on Disney Cruise Line. It's the best of both worlds.

I hope you are excited about your trip on the brand new Disney Wish! Once we figure out how to get you to Port Canaveral from your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll be in shipshape. There are several options for you to consider, Deborah.

There are buses that will transport you from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to the port. You can contact Disney Cruise Line by phone or email to add transfers from your resort to the port. You will receive a notification in your room, usually the night before your cruise, detailing what time your luggage will be collected and what time your bus leaves.

You can use a rideshare service, like Uber or Lyft. These work great if you want to set your own pace. Using a rideshare service, you will do online check-in 30 days prior to your cruise and be assigned a port arrival time. Then you can arrange your pick-up time based on when you need to arrive at the port.

Another option is to hire a private car or limo service. These can be a bit more expensive, but if you have a bigger group going than you can accommodate in an Uber, it may be worth it to go this route. The private car will pick you up at your resort, and you'll arrive at the assigned port arrival time you get when you check in.

I hope all of your cruise WISHes come true!
