Magical greetings, Cheralynn, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're getting ready to enjoy
Cool KIDS' SUMMER at The Most Magical Place on Earth. It's such a great time to visit because when you stay at a
Disney Resort hotel from now until September 8, you get complimentary admission to a
Disney Water Park of your choice on the day you check in to your resort. You probably already knew that, though, didn't you? Thanks for asking your question about attire that's allowed in the water parks. Let's dive right in!
Taking a look at the
dress code for the water parks, swim wear with zippers isn't allowed on any of the attractions, so if your daughters choose to wear their swimsuits with zippers, they may be very limited in what they'll be able to enjoy that day. I know this wasn't the answer you were hoping for, yet the good news is, with a few more weeks before your trip, hopefully you still have time to find some alternatives.
I'm not sure which water park you're planning to visit, but if you go to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, don't miss
Castaway Creek, the lazy river there. It's significantly less thrilling than some of the other attractions, yet it's the perfect way to relax in a mix of sun and shade. I could float along for hours there.
At Disney's Blizzard Beach,
Summit Plummet is the headliner and is quite the opposite of relaxing. Life's about balance, though, don't you think? I admit I haven't been able to get my nerve up to try that one, so if you or someone else in your party decide to take the plunge, you get bragging rights for sure!
Cheralynn, I hope this has been helpful to you. Please swim back by with any other planning questions we can help out with.
Grab hold of your dreams!
