We are staying in Coronado Springs in December 2019. Where can we see the Magic Kingdom fireworks on our first night there? We won’t be in the park that day.

    Susan,

How EXCITING! Your visit to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" is less than one month away! I hope you're counting down the days until all of the magic and fun begin. You'll be packing your bags before you know it!

Your plan to kick off your Walt Disney World Resort vacation with some fireworks sounds like an excellent idea! Whether Happily Ever After or the all-new Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show is lighting up the night sky, it will be filled with festivities and fun! For the best viewing spots, I'd recommend the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or the fourth floor observation deck at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The views are great from both of these spots, and the very best part about these locations is that the music is piped in, so you'll have a more immersive experience. To travel to either one of these locations for Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, you may simply take a bus to Magic Kingdom park, then hop on the iconic monorail to either Resort hotel. Of course, if you have your own vehicle, you'll simply need to tell the Cast Member at the gate that you're visiting to watch the fireworks, and you'll be able to park there for a couple of hours while you enjoy the show.

The holiday season is one of my very favorite times of the year to visit, so I hope that you have a truly magical vacation, Susan! Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're thinking through the details of your trip!
