Staying at Copper Creek at Wilderness Lodge. What is the best way to get from our resort to Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long at Fort Wilderness?

Hi Caley! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is RIGHT around the corner! I bet you and your family are bursting with excitement knowing that in just a few days you'll be riding the Monorail, strolling down Main Street U.S.A., and munching on Mickey-shaped waffles! I can't help but say that I'm more than a little bit jealous!

During your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth, I hope you'll enjoy bouncing from one attraction to another but that you also take some time to rest, relax and really take in the magic that surrounds you.  Staying at the Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is such a perfect location.  You're just a boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of Magic Kingdom but you'll feel like you've retreated deep into the forests of the Pacific Northwest.

Warm up those voices because you're going to have a wonderful time singing along to some cowboy-inspired tunes on the evening you plan to head to Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.  With the option to bring your own marshmallows or purchase a s'mores kit from the Chuckwagon Snack Bar you know you're going to enjoy every moment of this free and fun campfire at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

If I were you I would plan at least an hour of travel time between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground so you don't miss out on any of the fun.  You have a couple of possible options when making your way over to the campfire, depending on how you're feeling that day!  When leaving your Resort you're welcome to hop on a Disney Bus headed for Magic Kingdom or a Water Taxi which is also headed that way.  You will most likely need to take this route and then transfer to another bus or water taxi to continue on your way to Fort Wilderness.  You may want to check with the Front Desk of your Resort the day you're planning to roast those s'mores because you may find that there is a direct bus or water taxi route to Fort Wilderness that day.  You'll find the campfire near the Meadow Trading Post.

The water taxi allows you a gorgeous view of Bay Lake, so you won't feel like it's a chore to make your way from one Resort to the other! If you're not planning on staying for the Movie Under the Stars you may even be lucky enough to catch Disney Enchantment from your water transportation on the way back to your "home" Resort!

Enjoy every moment of your upcoming trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
