We will be staying at the Contemporary resort. We thought about going over to the Boardwalk for supper one night and eating at The Flying Fish. What would be best way to get there from the Contemporary resort?

Probably the easiest way to get from the Contemporary to the Flying Fish would be to take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom and from there get on a bus to the Boardwalk Hotel. The Flying Fish is on the ground level of the Boardwalk. From the Magic Kingdom, you could also hop on a bus going to the Yacht and Beach Club or the Swan and Dolphin resort if one of those comes first. Those resorts are only a 5-10 minute walk from the Boardwalk.

I ate at the Flying Fish for the first time two days ago. I had the yummy signature potato-wrapped snapper. I also ADORED my appetizer. It was a tasting platter of five different artisinal cheeses with special little fruit and honey accompaniments. Unique and so delicious! They gave me a little sheet describing the wonderful cheeses I was eating. I've brought that home to try to find them for me to eat here. I'm sure you're going to have a lovely meal.
