Hi- I am staying at the Contemporary in a garden view room. My ? is what is a good room to request or is it better to upgrade to the tower. Thank you so much

    Jessica,

That is a tough question. There is nothing wrong with a garden view room at the Contemporary. They provide a very quiet retreat in an otherwise busy and active part of Walt Disney World. But for me, the magic of a stay at the Contemporary is being in the tower, watching the monorail run through it. also like being closer to the amenities that mostly reside in the tower.

So here is what I would do. If I were there with just my wife, I would spend the extra money and upgrade to a tower room. Facing the Magic Kingdom if available, but either side is great.

But if I were traveling with my two little girls, I would ask for a ground floor garden room. That way I have somewhere to sit with my wife during naps and when they go to bed before we would.

Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions, and I would be glad to provide more suggestions.

    Have a magical vacation!
