We are staying at the Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort. We drive everywhere since we need a car seat for our 3 year old and there are no buses really available at our resort. How can we easily get to Tri-Circle-D Ranch for the pony rides, etc.? Thanks!

Howdy, Bethany, and welcome to planDisney!

You must be so excited for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World, and I must say, I'm super excited for you! I have such magical memories of visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with my kids at that age, and I just know you'll cherish every moment. I see that your visit is right around the corner, so let's saddle up and get to your question!

Bethany, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is one of my favorite places in Disney World. It's quiet, it's peaceful, and it's home to one of my favorite Disney World dining experiences, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! I'm thrilled that you're planning to stop by for a visit to Tri-Circle-D Ranch, and I'm happy to report that it's pretty easy to get there from your home away from home, Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

Your first (and probably simplest) option is to use the boat launch outside of Magic Kingdom Park. The launch is located just outside the park entrance, so just follow the signage and board the boat bound for Fort Wilderness!

Your second option is to drive your car directly to Fort Wilderness. To park in the resort lot, you'll need a confirmed reservation at one of the resort's table-service restaurants (including Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue or Trail's End Restaurant) or a reservation for an Enchanting Extra at the resort. These include Horseback Riding and the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience. Be sure to have your My Disney Experience app handy when you arrive at the gate, since you'll need to show your reservation to the Disney Cast Member to gain access to the lot. You'll receive a temporary parking pass that will allow you to park in the lot for a few hours.

I hope this is helpful, Bethany, and that your visit to Disney's Fort Wilderness is ace-high! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney.

    So long, partner,

    Allison
