Staying at CBR in a pirate room and requested a building next to a bus stop (between buildings 36 and 37). Everyone complains about the distance from OPR, but except for bkfst a morning or two, I see no need to go there. Am I missing something?

Since Caribbean Beach is our favorite moderate resort, I tend to agree with you! The distance has never been an issue for us. Also, Port Orleans-Riverside and Coronado Springs are both very large as well, so we don't feel there is much of a difference.

The one thing you might wish to consider is that the main themed swimming pool at CBR is located at Old Port Royale. When you're staying in a pirate room at the back of the resort, you would have to go to the front of the resort to swim in that pool. We never found that to be troublesome, and of course there are other quiet pools that are closer as well.
