We are staying at the CBR and a member of our party would like to catch up with some extended family that lives in the area...how would you suggest she go about that? Meet at the resort (is that allowed) or somewhere else? She has no car.

    Hi Kelli,

How fantastic that the extended family will get to meet whilst you're at Walt Disney World. The family will be able to come and visit your party at your resort, they just need to say they're visiting when they arrive. Your guests will be able to use all of the resorts facilities except the pools as they're for resort guests only.

Another idea is to meet either at Downtown Disney where there are a few coffee type shops or at another resort. All of these can be reached using the free Disney transport. I recently met a friend who lives in Orlando and rather than her come to my resort we booked a lunch at the Grand Floridian Resort and chatted in style :-)

    Have a fun meet,
