Andrea,
If you look at the parts of these resorts that surround the main waterways, they are technically the same size. But when you add the Trinidad South section of buildings to the Caribbean Beach Resort, it becomes a much larger resort. Also, the split of amenities between the Custom House (Check-In building) and the Old Port Royale Centertown (dining, stores, main pool adjacent), as well as the general layout makes this resort
SEEM even larger, at least to me.
But do not dismay!
If you request (and get) a room in the right area, you will be fine. What you want to do is be closer to that Old Port Royale Centertown facility. Here are the sections, and specific buildings, that I would request (in order);
- Trinidad North (building 31)
- Martinique (building 26, 25)
- Jamaica (building 45, 46)
- Aruba (building 51)
As for the bus stop, because of the odd routing of the buses around the resort, there is no real preference. I would just go to the one closest to where you are, and know that all that time spent going around the resort before heading to the park may be annoying, but is saving you the car rental expense.
Have a magical vacation!
