    Staying at CBR 4/18-4/26 and getting ready to do the online check in process. It is my understanding that you can request a certain area. We have a standard room is one of the areas better than another or closer to the main pool and food area?

    Hi, Carrie! 

    I'm sure your family will enjoy staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort which features six vibrantly colorful villages set on a 200-acre tropical oasis. The Standard Rooms and Preferred Rooms have views of either the resort hotel, courtyard or woodlands. However, the Preferred Rooms (in the Trinidad North and Martinique Villages) are located closest to Old Port Royale Centertown, the main activities hub area where you'll find the Market Street food court, Shutters restaurant, Calypso Trading Post, Straw Market shops and Goombay Games arcade. The pirate-themed main pool with water slide is located in the Old Port Royale area. Each of the six villages also has its own pool. 

    As for transportation, the complimentary Disney buses make stops at Old Port Royale Centertown as well as at each of the Caribbean Beach villages. 

    I would recommend requesting Building 51 in Aruba Village or Building 45 in Jamaica Village since these are located directly across Barefoot Bay from Old Port Royale Centertown. You just need to walk across the bay bridge. However, you may want to consider that Building 51 in Aruba is a longer distance from the bus stop. You'll find a great Caribbean Beach Resort map on the independent website AllEars.Net.
