Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We're staying at CBC and made reservations for 7 days for a preferred room. Decided to arrive a day earlier Our travel agent just reserved one night, standard room for that day. Will we have to switch rooms since it's 2 separate reservations?

    Hi Lisa,

    You will need to switchrooms as you are staying in two different room types - standard vs. preferred. Since there is a price difference between the two, this will necessitate the move.

    However, when you check in at your resort, you can ask if you can be upgraded or if there is a way for you to not to change rooms. However, there is no guarantee and it depends on the time of year you are traveling on vacation because of room availabilty.
