We are staying at CB Resort in April and have a 18mns old and a 6 year old. I heard you do a lot of walking at this resort? Is there a place to buy an umbrella stroller at the resort, or rent one while we are at the resort but not at the theme park.

Caribbean Beach, and many of the other WDW resorts, are indeed quite large. I do recommend that you have a stroller available for your six year old for at least part of the trip. Even a first or second grader who has been out of strollers for years can become tuckered out with the tremendous amount of walking that is part of a WDW vacation. Your best option would be to bring a stroller from home. But if you want to get one at Disney World, there are a few options. Strollers are available for rent at the theme parks, but those may not leave the parks and they are quite expensive. There are no rentals at the resorts. However, the last several times I have been to WDW this year, I have seen sturdy umbrella-style strollers for sale both in the parks and in the hotel gift shops. You can read more about this HERE. Another alternative would be to rent a stroller from an independent agency. Panelist Bret gives a recommendation about this HERE
