Hi there! We´ll be staying at Caribe Royale next May and thinking about either taking the complimentary Shuttle Bus to WDW transportation center and then take another bus to Anmial Kingdom or going directly by car. What would you suggest?

Hi, Nadja! Walt Disney World Resort offers so many great transportation options to their guests - water ferries, monorails, motorcoach, Minnie Vans, oh my! Of course, there's always my favorite form of Disney transportation, a Doom Buggy! I am glad you stopped by to chat with us, because I have just the information you need about how to get here, there, and everywhere around Walt Disney World Resort.

Without a doubt in my mind, I can tell you that my suggestion is for you to take your car on the day you plan to head to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The shuttles from area hotels typically run every 30 minutes. From Caribe Royal, you would have at least a 15-minute drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center. You would then have to wait on the next bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which could mean up to another 20-minute wait, and take another 15-minute drive to the park. However, if you simply drive your own car from your hotel to the theme park, you would be there in less than 20 minutes. Hop on your favorite online map to plug in Caribe Royal and each park. You will see they are all very easy drives! There are lots of signs along the roadways directing Disney guests which roads lead to different magical destinations. When I am driving in the area, I usually keep my GPS on, but I find I really do not need it because the directional signs are really helpful. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app before your trip, which includes a handy Get Directions feature on each dining, attraction, and entertainment listing! This is a great option for helping you navigate the parks.

Nadja, thanks so much for stopping by with your questions and please let us know if you have any others as you continue to plan your magical adventures!
