Hi, Kelsey! Welcome to planDisney.
Last year, my family and I had the joy of staying at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort for the first time, and we were so impressed that we're already planning a return visit! We were especially excited to stay in one of the newly refurbished Little Mermaid rooms, which absolutely delighted my daughter. Beyond that, we loved the resort’s stunning scenery, its easy access to the
Disney Skyliner, and the close proximity to
Disney’s Riviera Resort. (Pro tip: Stop by
Le Petit Café for a delicious coffee and enjoy it in the cozy Voyageurs’ Lounge, a charming space inspired by Walt Disney’s European travels and favorite books.)
Disney Resort hotels are enchanting places to explore, shop, and dine. Even if your friends are not staying onsite, they are welcome to visit you at your hotel. As you mentioned in your question, swimming at Disney Resorts is exclusively reserved for Guests staying at that specific hotel, so there’s no need for them to pack their swimsuits. However, there's so much more to enjoy about this hotel. One of my favorite ways to soak in the atmosphere is by strolling the scenic trail along Barefoot Bay, where I can enjoy the sandy beaches, lush tropical surroundings, and lively wildlife before making my way to the charming Caribbean Cay island.
If your friends are visiting from a theme park or Disney Springs, they can take the
complimentary Disney transportation. If they're driving, they can let the Cast Member at security know they’re visiting friends and exploring the resort. Just keep in mind that parking may be limited, and without a dining reservation, they might be redirected to a theme park or
Disney Springs. However, Caribbean Beach Resort has ample parking, so I don’t anticipate that being an issue.
I hope that's helpful, Kelsey! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us. See ya real soon and have a brilliant trip.
Mike
