Hi Melinda, and welcome to planDisney! You’ve chosen such a fantastic resort. I stayed at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort just last month and absolutely loved feeling like I was on a tropical island getaway while still being right in the middle of all of the magic at Walt Disney World Resort!
It sounds like you have a fun day planned but with an early morning start! Unfortunately, I would not recommend walking from the Caribbean Beach resort to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. It’s about two miles on a route not ideal for pedestrians.
Complimentary Disney bus transportation is also not provided between resort hotels. Only buses to the theme parks and Disney Springs are available from Caribbean Beach. Buses to the theme parks begin operating 45 minutes prior to scheduled park opening and to Disney Springs only during operating hours.
With these limitations in mind, you would have a couple of options. The first is
Minnie Van™ Service, which you can set up in the Lyft app in the morning when you are ready to depart. Minnie Vans are driven by Disney Cast Members and can accommodate up to six passengers in one vehicle. They can also provide car seats or you are welcome to bring your own. Minnie Vans generally begin running around 6:30 a.m. However, availability is limited, so you may find that one is not able to pick you up immediately if demand is high. In that case, a traditional rideshare may be your only other option.
