We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. We have reservations at Whispering Canyon for breakfast. Can we get to Wilderness Lodge without entering Magic Kingdom? Thank you.

    Hi Beth,

Ooh...you're going to have a hootin', hollerin', GREAT time at Whispering Canyon Cafe and enjoy an absolutely delicious breakfast to start your day of magic and fun! With my favorite breakfast food (Mickey waffles, of course!) and lots of other scrumptious options, I love enjoying the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Breakfast Skillet. Plus, did you know that you are able to enjoy their famous All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Shakes at breakfast time, too? I mean, it IS vacation, so feel free to spoil yourself a little!

To get to Disney's Wilderness Lodge from Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you have several options. You could take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park, then enjoy a peaceful boat ride across the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake to get to the Resort hotel. While you'll be arriving at Magic Kingdom Park to do that, you won't be entering into the theme park and won't need a ticket to enjoy the complimentary transportation. Another option from your Resort hotel is to grab any other theme park bus (although Disney's Hollywood Studios or Epcot are the closest ones to you) and simply switch buses at the theme park and take the one to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I would plan on up to 90 minutes of travel time to make sure you have plenty of time to catch your bus, transfer, and make it all the way to your breakfast on time. Of course, you could always use the stylish Minnie Van Service to get to your breakfast, too. That requires a small fee, but wouldn't take nearly as much time.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Beth, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
