Hello! We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort in October. My son is one of those kids who has to have a cup of milk when he wakes up. Will we be able to buy a half gallon of milk to keep in our room? And any idea of the cost? Thank you!

    Hi Nicole!

I'm so excited for you!  Your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner.  Hooray!

I have good news.  Yes, you will be able to buy a half gallon of milk at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and keep that in your room for your son's morning milk fix.  Just stop by the Calypso Trading Post in the Old Port Royale Centertown and you should be able to find exactly what you need.  Most of the Disney Resort hotels offer similar grocery products for sale and on my last visit, I saw half gallons of fat-free, 1% lowfat and Vitamin D (whole) milk for $3.49 (plus tax) at our hotel.  I can't say for certain that you'll find exactly the same thing for that same price when you visit, but I'd at least expect something similar.  The mini-fridge that comes in your room will definitely hold a half gallon of milk (maybe even two), plus still have room for some other food items or snacks you might want to keep on hand.

Wishing you a MAGICAL vacation, Nicole!  Please visit us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if we can help answer any other questions as you put the final sprinkles of pixie dust on your vacation plans.
