Hello, we are going to be staying at the campsites in fort wilderness. We have a reservation for beaches and cream. What is the best way to arrive there? I would prefer to not use the Minnie car.

Hi Kayla, and welcome to planDisney!

I always say this, but Disney’s Fort Wilderness is still one of my top resorts, especially in the cabins! The grounds have the perfect balance of peacefulness, beauty, and fun. Everyone should experience this resort at least once when they visit Walt Disney World Resort

So you are heading to the Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort? You will love the yummy offerings, and if you are up for the challenge, go ahead and try the Kitchen Sink. My family and I didn’t quite finish it, but we will redeem ourselves soon enough. The best way to get from The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort to Disney’s Beach Club Resort would be to take the water taxi transportation to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop on the Disney Bus Transportation to Disney’s Beach Club Resort. On your way back, you will do the opposite unless it is late, and in that case, you can always utilize the services of one of the smartphone rideshare companies (it doesn’t have to be the Minne Van Service). Of course, you can certainly use a car if you have access to one while on vacation. Once you arrive at the resort, show your ID and let security know you are there for your dining reservation, and they will let you know how to proceed.

We will be here if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical meal!
