Howdy Francine!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am excited to hear you are packing up your wagon and heading to
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort! If you ask me, a visit to Walt Disney World Resort is the perfect way to start the new year.
The best way to secure your campsite as early as possible is to complete the online check in for your resort reservation before you set out on the trail. Sign in to your
My Disney Experience profile on the Walt Disney World Resort website or with the mobile app to do so. You can indicate what time you expect to arrive on your check-in day to help the resort with planning for your reservation. Then, once you arrive, pull up to the welcome center at the resort entrance and a Cast Member will be able to let you know if your campsite is available.
In the event your campsite is not ready when you first arrive, there is a large parking lot at the Reception Outpost that includes plenty of temporary parking for your trailer. The parking lot is located near the Outpost Depot, so you can leave your trailer and hop on
Disney's complimentary bus transportation to go to the theme parks and start your adventure early!
Once you have settled in for the evening, take advantage of some of the great amenities this rustic resort has to offer. We loved ending our evenings with s'mores at
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long!
Mosey on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions! See ya real soon! Angie
