    I will be staying at the campgrounds with a tent. I read that you should bring an extension cord. How long should it be to reach the tent from the electric pole?

    Howdy Cheryl!

    Sounds like you'll be roughing it (if that is even possible at Disney)  at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness. Be sure you check out all the amazing amenities and recreation this Resort has to offer including the Meadow Swimmin' Pool complete with water slide, archery, horseback riding and even boat rental.  I promise your time spent here will be unforgettable.

    The tent campsites do come with a pole that provides electricity.  You will need to make sure you bring heavy duty outdoor extension cords.   I suggest bringing two as their are two outlets in the pole.   I also recommend bringing along a power strip for inside your tent, to plug in fans or any lights you would want to bring along.   It's hard to say how long you will need, it all depends on how close you place your tent to the pole.   I would say a 50 ft. cord would be plenty long enough and you would rather have a cord too long than too short.   If you get to to the campsite and need any additional supplies they can be found at the Meadow Trading Post located next to the Meadow Swimmin' Pool.
