Howdy Hallie!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a hootin’ tootin’ fabulous vacation coming up at
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort!
The Cabins sit on
750 acres of forest and evoke the era of the American frontier. With a living room, patio (complete with grill!), and kitchen in each of the hideaways you can enjoy a fabulous time with your family. Did you know that Mousekeeping will even come in and do your dishes? Speaking of dishes,
you need groceries to fill them! I have a kiddo or two that are quite particular with their food, so we also have groceries delivered to prevent food meltdowns!
Several services will deliver directly to your Resort. I have used both Garden Grocer and Amazon Prime Now, and they are both fantastic. A friend routinely uses InstaCart and swears by it for every Disney trip. You can also order directly through Disney. With grocery delivery from
Disney and
Garden Grocer, you have the option of groceries being delivered straight to your Cabin, and perishables will be placed in the fridge. With delivery from places with a personal shopper (like Shipt),
you will need to be present to accept your groceries. The ones without personal shoppers can leave your groceries with Bell Services, who will hold them until you are ready to pick up or deliver them for a small fee. No worries about refrigerated items,
Bell Services will keep your food cold. For most of the services,
place your order sooner rather than later (I usually plan a month ahead for Disney and Garden Grocer), to reserve a delivery spot. If you are using Shipt or Amazon Prime Now, those can be the day of.
Hallie, I hope this roundup helps, and
yippee-ki-yay to a fabulous vacation!
