When staying at the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness can you park your car near the cabin? If so, can you drive your car to the boat transportation or main outpost and park there? We have a family of 6, so for the price to rent 2 carts we could just rent a car.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha! You’re going to love your stay at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! There are so many great recreational activities there and you’re also so close to the action at the Magic Kingdom Park.

When you arrive, you will notice that there is a parking space right in front your cabin for you to park your vehicle. You’ll also see a charcoal grill and a patio deck that’s perfect for a leisurely family lunch, when you’re in between theme parks.

While parking is available at the outposts and pool areas, you won't find vehicle parking at the marina. But, you can always use the Disney buses to get around this frontier resort.

Samantha, you may want to check on the availability of a six-person golf cart rental. You can’t reserve it ahead of time, it's first come, first served. But you may find that it could be a good option for your family of six to get around the Fort Wilderness property. The cost for this cart is $17 more than the regular 4-seat cart. (These prices may be subject to change.) If you have any questions about golf cart rentals, you can reach a friendly Cast Member at the rental office at (407) 824-2742.

I hope you’ll take some time to enjoy the great outdoor recreational activities at your resort. With horseback riding, wagon rides and even archery activities available for guests to enjoy at Tri-Cricle-D Ranch, there’s really something for everyone!

If you have any more planning questions, remember that you can always come back to see us. It’s our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next magical vacation!
