Hi- staying at Cabins at Ft Wilderness. We are checking out January 11. We have a breakfast reservation at Cinderella’s Royal Table at 8:05am that same day. What is the earliest boat ride departure time on Jan 11 to MK from the resort?

    Hi Mary!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have picked a beautiful place to stay on your upcoming vacation. The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are super fun. You have access to all of the fantastic amenities the Resort has to offer while being surrounded by acres of lush wilderness and animals. Best of all, Magic Kingdom Park is a quick boat ride away!

Magic Kingdom Park Watercraft transportation usually starts about 45 minutes before the earliest Park opening (including Early Morning Magic hours). I looked at the Park Hours for January 11, 2020, and it looks like Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9:00 am. So while the boat “might” be operating early enough to get you there, I would probably have a back-up plan.

Bus transportation from the Hotel will start approximately one (1) hour before Park opening. Or if you decide to drive, the scheduled Monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center starts 30 minutes before the earliest park opening. Also, the Express Monorail and ferryboat should be running early enough for your reservation. One word of caution - the rapid transportation does not run as frequently as the regular schedule, so make sure to arrive super early!

Mary, you can arrive as early as 7:30 am. Head to the far left Touchpoints of Magic Kingdom Park’s Main Entrance, once you are through, head straight to breakfast. You might be lucky enough to get a picture on Main Street U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle as your background without anybody else in the frame! One of the many reasons to love an early arrival!

I wish you an enchanted vacation ~ Rayna
