We will be staying in the Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort and have tickets to early morning magic in Fantasyland. What is the best way to get there? Will the boat from our resort be running that early?

    Welcome Home Heidi!

Thanks for riding back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You have picked a beautiful place to stay on your upcoming vacation! The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort are the ultimate in “rustic convenience.” They sit in 750 acres of lush forest and have a living room, full bedroom and bathroom, patio (complete with grill!), and kitchen in each of the hideaways. Best of all, Magic Kingdom Park is a quick boat ride away!

Magic Kingdom Park Watercraft transportation usually starts about 45 minutes before Park opening (including Early Morning Magic hours!). One of our “homes” is Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, and our favorite mode of transport to Magic Kingdom Park is the boat! It is quick, convenient and an incredibly relaxing start to a fun-filled day. If you don’t want to take the boat, bus transportation from the Hotel will start approximately one (1) hour before Park opening. Now, if you'd prefer to arrive like a VIP, hail a Minnie Van through the Lyft app. They will pick you up at the Resort entrance and deliver you to the gate of Magic Kingdom Park in a jiffy.

Heidi, you can arrive at far left Touchpoints of Magic Kingdom Park’s Main Entrance as early as 7:30 am, once you are through, head straight to Fantasyland where they will let you in at 7:45 AM. You might be lucky enough to get a picture on Main Street U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle as your background without anybody else in the frame! One of the many reasons to love Early Morning Magic!

I wish you an enchanted vacation ~ Rayna
