Hello, Hallie! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like you are planning a magical vacation next yEAR! You're going to love roughing it in comfort at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Although you will feel like you're in the middle of the great outdoors, you're only a quick boat ride away from
Magic Kingdom Park!
Tri-Circle-D Ranch is the home to "The Happiest Horses on Earth," and they have been relocated to a nearby area of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground while a brand new barn is being built. The reopening is set for the Spring of 2020, but no exact date has been released; I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that's it's done in time for your trip! The good news is that
Pony Rides are still currently available daily from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM on a walk-in basis only at the Trail Blaze Corral near the campground entrance. Reservations won't be accepted until the refurbishment is complete. If you have any further questions or concerns, you can call (407) 824-2832.
There are so many family-friendly activities to partake in while at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, and I'd love to recommend a couple of them. The
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue has been entertaining guests (over ten million, in fact) since 1974. What could be better than a little singing, dancing, and unlimited fried chicken and cornbread?! Also, make sure to spend some time hanging out with everyone's favorite nutty chipmunks at
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. If you plan on having groceries delivered, add a bag of marshmallows to your list, or you can also buy a s'mores kit from the
Chuckwagon Snack Bar.
I hope this helps, Hallie! If you have any more vacation planning questions, remember we're all EARs!
