We are staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness and were looking for a place nearby where we can purchase some breakfast items (cereal, milk, OJ, etc). Does the Trading Post on property carry this sort of stuff or do we need to go somewhere else?

Howdy Shirley! The cabins at Fort Wilderness are amazing! They come equipped with a full kitchen, compete with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and more! It is so nice to have the option to make your own meals in the cabin before hitting the parks.

Fort Wilderness has two main shopping areas. The Settlement Trading Post has a wide array of grocery items, including milk, bread, juice, cereal, chips, frozen dinners, pizza, canned goods, sausage, eggs and more! This shop also has Fort Wilderness souvenirs, health and beauty supplies and sporting goods, baby gear and souvenirs.

The Meadow Trading Post has everything that is available at The Settlement Trading Post, but also has camping supplies, video rentals and a deli.

The onsite shops carry a wide selection, but if there is also a supermarket and a major retailer close to the resort in the Crossroads area.

I hope you have a hoop, hollering good time at the Fort Wilderness Lodge. Don't forget to make reservations for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review while you are there. The show takes place outside of the Pioneer Hall at the Fort Wilderness Resort and has three shows nightly!

    Magically,
