Hi. We are staying at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness for the first time this May. Does each cabin have a parking spot? How much time would it take to get to the Magic Kingdom by boat? Thank you.

Howdy Anne!   You are going to have a magical time in the great outdoors while staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.   I was lucky enough to stay in one last November and it was awesome.    I loved having a full sized refrigerator and the beds were oh so comfy.   You will be happy to know that each cabin does come with a parking pad.  We were able to snugly fit 2 vehicles,  a mid size sedan and small SUV in the parking space.   If your car is a large SUV or truck you will probably only be able to park one vehicle.  Anne, keep in mind you  can not park in the grass or sand next to the parking pad.  All wheels must be on the concrete.

As for getting to Magic Kingdom, you will need to first take the internal shuttle bus to the Settlement and from there make your way to the boat dock where you will catch the Green Flag Launch over to Magic Kingdom.   The boat ride itself takes about 15 minutes, but you may be waiting 10-15 minutes extra for a boat if one has either just departed or is on the way.  It's a lovely ride that drops you off right at the main entrance of Magic Kingdom Park.   You couldn't get another form of transportation to take you closer.   Isn't that great?

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anne.   Have a magical vacation making memories that will last a lifetime.
