Staying at cabins at fort wilderness, will the boat be running early to magic kingdom for 8am breakfast reservations?

    Hi there, Hallie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know how excited you must be to spend time at the Walt Disney World Resort in May. And I'm sure you can't wait to spend time enjoying all Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground have to offer. I love the laid back feel of this area, especially after a long day. It's the perfect retreat to refresh for another magical day in the theme parks!

Hallie, one of the best amenities when staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, is the complimentary Disney Water Transportation. It's such a relaxing and peaceful ride whether you are headed to Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, or Magic Kingdom. The boats begin running 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom opens, even if the park offers Extra Magic Hours (weather permitting). You'll want to check the park hours for the day you have your 8:00 a.m. dining reservation and continue to check as they may change.

Another transportation option for you to consider is the Minnie Van Service through the Lyft app. When you open up the Lyft app from anywhere at Walt Disney World, it will be available for you to select. You can find out the exact rate by entering your destination from your pick up point before you confirm your ride. It is a magical way to travel around, and your Minnie Van will be able to drop you off very close to the entrance of Magic Kingdom!

Thank you for continuing to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Hallie! We'd love to hEAR from you again if you have any other questions.
