When staying in a cabin at Fort Wilderness, can we request an extra skillet from housekeeping?

Welcome back to planDisney, Cheri! I'm so happy to hear you have a visit to The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort in the works! Thanks for sending us your question.

You can absolutely request another skillet from housekeeping during your stay. All you have to do is pick up the phone in your cabin, press the housekeeping button and they will be over with whatever you might need. I have cooked in the cabin kitchens many times over the years. On two occasions, I even made Thanksgiving dinner! The kitchens come very nicely equipped with a few pots, pans, eating and cooking utensils, so you have everything you need to make your family a meal when you would like to.

There's so much to do at the Fort! Be sure to take a look at the recreation activities available to you during your visit. I have found that you can very happily spend a whole day there swimming in the pool or taking a guided tour of the grounds. Ending the day with a view of the Electrical Water Pageant is always a treat for my family. You can see the twinkling lights from the Fort Wilderness dock every night around 9 p.m.

Cheri, I hope I’ve been helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us because it's always our pleasure to help you with your plans!
