We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas 3/5 -3/11. While we do have a DDP, it's nice to have some things in our room to cook up as well. Can someone please tell me if there is a grocery on property or do we need to go off property and bring groceries in?

Hi, Kelly!  There are a few options available to you when it comes to getting groceries to your villa at the Boardwalk.  Out on the Boardwalk, you'll find the Screen Door General Store, There, you can purchase the essentials, like bread, milk, cereal, and a few other things like some frozen foods and packaged foods.  It's not a full sized supermarket, but they do carry enough things that will get you by during your vacation.

There are also several grocery delivery services available.  I've used Garden Grocer myself, and I like the convenience of having them deliver the items I want without me having to make an extra trip to the grocery store.  They give you a delivery window of two hours, so you're not waiting all day for your delivery, and they also try to let you know about 30 minutes before that they are headed your way.  That's usually enough time for some member of your party to get back to your resort.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi for about $20 to Goodings Supermarket at the Crossroads shopping center, which is just outside the Downtown Disney resort area.  But for the cost of the taxi one way, you can pay the nominal delivery charge most of the services require.

I hope that helps with your planning!
