I am staying at the boardwalk resort in a 1 bedroom unit. What is the type of coffee machine?

    Hi Susan!

Welcome to planDisney! You’ve hit on one of my favorite topics, coffee! As a night shift nurse, coffee is a staple for me, and a good cup is one of my favorite ways to start a Disney day! I will even admit that sometimes I fall asleep already planning my morning cup of coffee.

All of the Deluxe Studios, 1 and 2 Bedroom Villas at Disney currently have a Mr. Coffee 12 cup drip coffee maker. You’ll find coffee accompaniments like creamer and sweetness in the room upon arrival, along with one regular and one decaf “pod” of coffee. These pods from Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea are basically the coffee and filter in one. If you choose to bring your own coffee like I do, you’ll want to pack standard, flat-bottom coffee filters. If you happen to forget them, you can usually buy them in the grocery area of resort gift shops. If you enjoy Joffrey’s Coffee, you can receive complimentary additional coffee bods by calling Mousekeeping from the phone in your room.

I hope this helps with your planning, Susan. Wishing you a magical and well-caffeinated visit to Disney’s BoardWalk Villas.
