Staying at the Boardwalk Inn & wondering what is the fastest Disney transportation to use to get to HS? We are going on 12/2/15. I would like to be there for rope drop. Need the quickest way possible....Boardwalk Bus, Boat or Walk? Thank you!

    Hi there Cynthia!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I was just at Disney's BoardWalk Inn this past weekend and traveled to Disney's Hollywood Studios from that location.  Based on my own personal experience, I would have to say that walking was the quickest route for us. Following dinner at Disney's BoardWalk, we had several in our group that walked to Disney's Hollywood Studios, while many others chose to ride the ferryboat. The walkers arrived approximately 5 minutes ahead of those on the boat. I would allow approximately 20 minutes if walking and 25 minutes if traveling via the ferryboat. My recommendation would be to walk in the morning if you are hoping to make rope drop and then catch the ferryboat back to the resort when your feet may be needing a much needed break.

I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Cynthia!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
