    We are staying at the Boardwalk Inn Villas next week and wondered if dish soap and laundry detergent are provided or if we need to bring our own? Thanks!

    Love the Boardwalk Villas, and you can't be the fantastic location. Easily within walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

    You will have a small bottle of dish soap, approximately 5oz if I recall, that is under the sink when you check in. We have always found that this bottle is plenty for us during our week long stays, but we do not usually cook full meals, so how long it will last will depend on the amount of dishes you plan on doing. There is also a dishwasher in the unit and the Mousekeepers will leave a few packets of detergent for that also.

    You will receive a small box of Tide laundry soap which is enough for two loads. On some occasions our Mousekeeper has replenished that for us when the room is cleaned, however I am not sure if that is the usual practice, as it happens infrequently. I always plan ahead for our laundry needs and bring detergent with me. The great thing I have recently discovered is the Purex 3 in 1 laundry sheets. These flat sheets look like fabric softener but thicker, and are designed to be used in the washer and dryer. I love how clean they get our clothes, and how wonderful and soft everything is out of the dryer. Plus they are flat and not liquid and easily packed in my suitcase. I travel with them all the time now.

    On a side note, be sure to spend some time down on the Boardwalk in the evenings. We love the free family entertainment of magicians, jugglers and comedians. Be sure to stop and watch Brian, tall guy in polyester suit. He is fantastic! Have a great time!
