Hi! We are staying at the Boardwalk Inn during our next stay, and have a water view room. I've read that a water view room can be a view of the boardwalk, crescent lake, or the pool. What is the difference in a boardwalk view or crescent lake view?

Hello, Miriah! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for sending us another great question. I think you're going to have an INN-credible time!

Disney's BoardWalk Inn is ideally located between EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. This resort's unique charm puts it at the top of many Disney fans' lists! I love the nearby nighttime entertainment, but my favorite thing might just be the lobby which is chock full of whimsical details, including the Hippocampus Electrolier chandelier of golden horses; and those infamous Nanny Chairs deserve an honorable mention (if you know, you know)!

This resort has Room Categories that range in price depending on the view. If you're in the mood to splurge, I recommend going all out and booking a Water View! When I called the Disney Reservation Line today, the Cast Member said the BoardWalk view would look out over Disney's BoardWalk promenade directly and can also have panoramas of Crescent Lake. The Crescent Lake view would be more of a view directly onto Crescent Lake and less of the BoardWalk. As you already mentioned, the "water" part of "Water View" can also refer to the canal or to a pool.

Personally, I would prefer the BoardWalk view, but keep in mind that these rooms will have some degree of nighttime noise coming from the Friendship Boats and the entertainers. If you have a room preference, speak to a Reservations Cast Member at (407) 939-1936 and ask them to note your request on your reservation file. While the resort will do its best to accommodate you, special requests would be considered a request only and are not guaranteed.

I'd love to offer you a couple of other suggestions! The Belle Vue Lounge may just be one of the best-kept secrets on the BoardWalk and is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after a long day at the parks- it is also a good place to stop for coffee in the morning. If you're in the mood for a signature meal experience, look no further than the Flying Fish. Their Potato-wrapped Red Snapper has reached legendary status and has been a "menu mainstay" for years!

I hope this helps, Miriah! Please write back if there's anything else we can do for you!
