    Staying at BLT. Can I walk to MK busses to take a bus from there to AK? And if so, how early in the morning can I catch a bus to AK from MK?

    Hi Phoebe!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family stayed at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort last year for Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and it quickly became my families favorite place to stay!

    While walking over and taking buses from Magic Kingdom is certainly an option, you'll likely find it much easier to just leave directly from Disney's Contemporary Resort! Direct from this Resort hotel, you'll find regular buses to the other three theme parks and Disney Springs. I would only recommend walking over to Magic Kingdom, if you needed to hop over to a different Resort hotel for a dining reservation or something like that. From Disney's Contemporary Resort to Disney's Animal Kingdom, bus service begins running 45 minutes prior to park opening and ends one hour prior to park closing. Buses will continue to return from the park to your Resort hotel up to two hours after park closing.
