(9 staying at BLT) 4 want ressie for sushi-I have heard of someplace in Epcot that is very good. Are you aware of the name/ location. Hop tickets/ can we reserve dinner after 2:00 since, no park ressie. (we have 3 day hopper)

    Hi Denise,
I’m so glad you brought your delectable dining question to planDisney!
Sounds like you are planning a spectacular Fourth of July celebration for your party at the Walt Disney World Resort. Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is the practically perfect place from which to catch the nighttime fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park during your stay.
So, let’s get busy helping you create a dazzling vacation!

Now, there are multiple options for sushi at the Japanese pavilion located in the World Showcase of EPCOT to fit your dining experience desires. The first is Katsura Grill, which is a Quick Service location offering several sushi options. Another is Takumi-Tei—Japanese for “house of the artisan” offering a luxurious Fine/Signature Dining Experience. Or you might have heard of Teppan Edo, another option for sushi, but the star of the show here is really the Teppan-yaki-style chef working stir-fry magic before your eyes.

So, Denise, I’m certain that the sweet spot you are looking for is one of my favorite dining experiences at EPCOT, Tokyo Dining. Your group of 4 will marvel at the restaurant’s sleek décor with floor-to-ceiling windows offering sweeping views of World Showcase Lagoon. And good news, the menu of Tokyo Dining lives up to the reviews you have heard! My favorite sushi on the menu is the Hako Rainbow which is highlighted by Eel and Volcano Sauce. It is as delicious as it sounds! And if you enjoy sake, I recommend the Violet Sake with purple pear and lime juice. It is worth a social media post of its own!

You can make your dining reservations online 60 days in advance, which for your arrival date would be Thursday, March 4, beginning at 6:00 a.m. (ET). Denise, in my experience, making a dining reservation at one of the theme parks after Park Hopping begins has not been an issue, but remember that dining reservations do not guarantee access to a park, and Park Hopper availability may change daily.  Also be aware that with your Park Hopper ticket, you will need to make a Theme Park Reservation at one of the 4 parks and then enter that park in order to hop to another park after 2:00 p.m.

Denise, you are already on your way to planning a fabulous vacation for you and your crew! As you continue planning, please feel free to reach out with any additional questions you may have about your upcoming visit - we are here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
