Hi, We are staying in a 2 bedroom villa at Old Key West Resort from 8/25/12-8/31/12..is there any way to gaurantee we will get a renovated room close to the HH? I requested it but am worried. I hear the bus stop is a long way from most buildings..true?

Hi Angela! I just stayed in a two-bedroom villa in Old Key West in November and it was awesome! It was so roomy, and had everything we could ever need, including a great balcony. It is a HUGE resort. I ran all through it, and can assure you that there are plenty of bus stops throughout, serving each area. I would definitely make a request for which room and/or building you want. Call the resort directly at (407) 827-7700 about two weeks before your arrival and advise them of your request. Although they cannot guarantee room requests, they will do their utmost to make them happen. When you check in, they'll show you your room location on a resort map. Don't be shy to ask to switch if it's not where you want - the worst they can say is no!

While we stayed there, Disney mom Kay and I walked from our villa to Downtown Disney. It's a gorgeous walk, and takes about 20 minutes. I highly recommend it!

Hope this helps Angela! Write back with any other questions as you plan your vacation!
