    WE are going to be staying at the Beach and Yacht Club for 6 days/7 nights in July. We have a 9 and 11 year old. We cannot figure out if the Dining plan would be a good financial decision. We are trying to cut some costs.Our 9 yr old is a picky eater!

    Daphne,

    I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan. That is not to say that it is the right choice for every visitor, but more often than not I find that it helps save them some money. Now that they have a low-budget version (Quick Service plan) and a high-budget version (Deluxe), I think that the plans are even better for more guests!

    So how can you decide for yourself? Easy. Follow these steps;

    1. Look over the dining plans and decide which matches how you would eat.
    2. Price out the cost of the plan that you prefer by contacting your booking agent/service.
    3. Compare the plan cost with what you would spend out of your own pocket. You can look up menus of many table service restaurants at the Walt Disney World website, or see most all at www.AllEars.net.

    In the end I find that one of the plans will work for just about any family!

    I am glad to help with more detailed suggestions, or questions about the specific plans. Just send me a direct question from my bio page!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
