Walt Disney World AND staying at one of my very favorite DVC resorts,
Disney's Beach Club Villas! Now let's get you sorted with the information you need so you're prepared for anything.
One of the best things about staying at a DVC resort is the amenities and special touches that really make your accommodations feel like a home away from home. Our vacations always start off with a grocery order so that we can prepare some meals - it's a great way to save some money during a trip, and we've enjoyed many late night feasts recapping our day and unwinding as a family!
Many of the DVC resorts do have grills, which give you even more options for meals. I have a panelist pal whose family has a tradition of grilling and pool time whenever they stay at Beach Club, which sounds like a practically perfect evening! Fenton, I spoke with a couple of Cast Members who said that you should be able to purchase match-light charcoal (subject to availability) for use at the grill at the
Beach Club Marketplace, as well as other grocery items. If you are ordering groceries for delivery, you can also add charcoal to your order. Bell Services will hold your items for you so you don't have to be present for delivery, with the exception of age-restricted items like alcohol that require someone age 21 or older to sign for the delivery.

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop is located in the Beach Club hotel, and you can either make a reservation or walk up to the to-go window for ice cream. In the opposite direction, I am a big fan of The
Cake Bake Shop Bakery on
Disney's BoardWalk. While I definitely recommend having a sit-down meal here at the restaurant to take in the beautiful decor, you can pop into the bakery to purchase one of their iconic (and massive!) cake slices to go, as well as a variety of other tasty desserts and coffees. I tend to be an early riser when we're at Disney, and it's one of my must-do spots for a morning latte!
